Voldemort had escaped imprisonment and Igor Karkaroff was now one of his supporters. There were others who were behind Voldemort but they were shadows and I could not see them.

I had learned of these higher powers who imbued me with magical powers beyond those of any other witch or wizard. But as time had passed and I got a greater knowledge of who had given me these powers, It dawned on me that if there are these good higher powers could there also be evil ones. Are they the shadowy figures behind Voldemort?

Now was a time to live, eventually there would be the time to fight. But until then I had a wonderful life. Severus and I were expecting twins. Harry was safe and protected and life needed to be lived.

What was to come? And could I stop it.
