"I want them to feel what I feel," I say calmly.
The man sitting across from me watches closely, his gaze unwavering, as if afraid he might miss the slightest reaction.

"And what is it that you feel?" His voice is calm, perhaps even calmer than mine.

"Regret," I spit out. "Pain," I continue.
"...A lot of pain." I finish my sentence.

The man nods, as if he expected this answer. "And what do you want them to regret?"

"Being born," I say flatly. "I want them to feel everything I feel..." I take a deep breath, my voice steady despite the weight of my words.
"...Everything I can't feel."

His brows shoot up slightly, betraying the first sign of confusion. "How do you plan on achieving that?"

"By killing myself." I finally smile.
