"Mack, we've all been through this before, it's normal to have a crush every once in a while when you're in a relationship. I know I've been there. The fact that it happened isn't what matters, it's normal, it's healthy. How you handle it is what matters" Coach said.
"So what do I do?" I asked. "What are my options?"
"Well, I've heard you talk to Ella on the phone before, no offense by this, are you really happy with her? Because that girl seems like she has no respect for you." Lee said.
"I love her." I said.
"Not what I asked," Lee said.
"What did you do in this situation?" I asked coach.
"You don't want my answer right now if you're still reflecting on all of this" He said.
"I do." I said. He paused.
"I reflected, made the decision to end my relationship. But, I had genuine feelings for the other girl, you just met Cubbie, you're not there yet" Coach said, offering me a smile.
"Well, how'd it all work out for you?" I asked.
"Ask her yourself, she's standing behind you cooking dinner for our kids as we speak" Joe said. Wow that was a lot. I looked back at the door she had just walked out, then looked back at Coach and Lee. "Had a feeling that one would scare you a little bit.
"He's not scared, he's reflecting." Lee said, putting emphasis on the word.

You met Will Smith during your sophomore year at Boston College-cocky, loud, impossible not to notice. He sat behind you in stats class and spent the whole semester finding new ways to make you laugh. Somewhere between all-night study sessions and Friday night games at Conte Forum, you fell hard.
Now, two years later, everything's changed. You've moved to California for grad school, and Will's a rookie in San Jose-alongside Macklin Celebrini, the Sharks' other rising star. You expect long nights and even longer FaceTimes with Will. What you don't expect is the way Mack looks at you. Or the way he looks at Will.
It starts small. Lingering glances. A touch that lasts a little too long. Jokes that land with a flush of heat. But soon, you're caught in something that feels like more than just friendship-something magnetic, fragile, and impossible to ignore.
Three hearts. One shot. And the question no one's brave enough to ask: what if love doesn't have to choose?
