For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. (This book has mature mentions, violence, blood, sexual scenes and mature content. Proceed with caution.)
Fighting is Meaningless
Blade was the son of Ying's family. The duke, his father, was the head of the military power of the Empire, and it was pretty easy to see a desire for more growing. The Emperor and the Crown Prince, fearing Ying's family would commit treason with all that power they were gaining, decided to give the order to end their legacy, and that's how soon Blade found himself with his whole family dead, bleeding, on the floor of his manor. Blade, in his last breath, prayed for a chance to get his revenge on the Empire, and on the Crown Prince.
