Aya is the older sister of Yuwen. She is in high school and now is a sophomore. She used to play softball but quit after an incident with her team when she was in 8th grade.
Aya was the star player. She could pitch the ball super fast and she could hit it out of the park. She also had a friend Kenneth or Kenny. He was like her partner in crime. Maybe there was other feelings involved. Kenneth is also Laurie's older brother. And is also the coach's kid. Aka Coach Dan.
But ever since the incident in 8th grade they never talked. You might say that the problem would have to do with how good she was getting. She was better than everyone else and others found her becoming bossy. But, Aya went to focus on her academics and hasn't really played softball since then. Unless her little brother Yuwen asked her too. She was always more than a sister figure to Yuwen. She was his role model.
But that all changed when Coach Dan asked for the old champion team to help the present team prepare for their championships. Will Kenneth and Aya rekindle their bond for the sake of the practice. Will everything be okay?
