Meet Yasmin Bennett; secret witch, new bartender at Mystic Grill. After abandoning her hometown for over a decade, she and her friend Alaric Saltzman come back to look for Isobel, her best friend who went missing a few months ago.

As I was cleaning up and taking care of closing tabs, another man appeared at the bar. It was the vampire from the night before. He was staring at me while he sat down on a stool.
"Hey, bourbon on the rocks." He took his jacket off and placed it on the table, his arms were very defined. He caught me gazing, I looked away and turned around to look for the bourbon.
"What brand?"
"Don't care, surprise me"
"Umm... okay."
I pulled out a glass and put some ice in it. I'm not familiar with brands at all. There were so many bottles on the shelf behind me, I had no idea which ones were good. Hesitating, I grabbed the first one in front of me on the shelf and poured enough in the glass to cover the ice and slid it over to him. He caught the glass in his hand while keeping his eyes locked on me, he knew I didn't know anything about bartending. I started to wipe the bar with a wet cloth to try and look busy as he sipped his drink watching me. The silence was so uncomfortable, I wanted to shrivel up and die.
"I think you owe me an apology," He looked at me while taking another sip.
Is he messing with me right now? I scoffed and looked up at him after staring at the countertop for what felt like ages. "Um, for what exactly? Not saying hi to you last night? I don't know if this is news to you, but staring at a woman in a bar isn't going to get you laid"

My name is Gemma Gilbert, or as many like to call me, GG. Don't get me wrong, I love my name, but the only reason I'll end up hearing my full name, is because I'm in deep trouble. Like always, I cause trouble, and my parents decided to send me to a 'behavioral boot camp' in Michigan State. Everything was turning upside down for me when they did, but everything went worse after I received some terrible news. My parents had passed away. I thought instantly about my brother, and sister, I thought the worst. I was relieved to find out they were alright, but brought down when the camp did not let me leave until my year was completed. So I did, I waited, and waited, and when the year came 'round, I was ecstatic to finally be with Aunt JenJen, Jeremy, and Elena. I just wanted to be with them so badly, but I couldn't, no, someone had paid for an extra year, and they wouldn't allow me to call home. After five months of being there, I came up with a plan to escape, but with no money, or any funds, I had to stay the year. Fortunately for me, nobody paid for a third year, and I was free. In the year I was there, I was able to get a job within the camp, and got paid 5$ an hour, and I accumulated enough for a transport back home. Mystic Falls. Oh how I missed the sweet smell of flowers in spring, and chipper wood in the winter. When I got back I thought I'd be greeted by my family hugging me, and telling me how sorry they felt, or how much mom missed me, and loved all of us, but instead I was met by an unwelcoming sister, and unwelcoming setting. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, my whole world seemed to just take a dump on me, and make it worse... _________________ New story because sadly UB is near its ending. :( but, on the good side, I'll keep this one to its plot, and not drift off. :) So enjoy. She is loosely the alternate version of a Supernatural character with a few tweaks. The Forgotten Gilbert
I've been in my sister's shadow for my whole entire life. I wouldn't have been if I hadn't been born with the looks I have. I have flaming red hair that's super-freakishly curly & frizzy, green eyes so dark that they could be black, and ears that naturally came to a point. The only person person who was nice to me, was Matt Donavan. We were best friends growing up. And then came puberty. My sister became more beautiful, while I became more ugly. And when started our freshman year in high school. My sister grabbed Matt before I even had the chance to tell him that I loved him. I managed to convince my parents to let me move to Richmond. The only reason they agreed to it is so that they didn't have to deal with me. So I like totally hated this story, liked it at first. But I decided to just LITERALLY kill it. I'm sorry if anyone actually liked it, but I couldn't write it anymore and I didn't want to leave the world just sitting there like I did with my Loki story. Please don't let this bad story experience prevent you from looking into my other storys that actually decently good. I also plan on writing new story's that are better than this one.
