Description of the book
Nawar Abdullahi is from Adamawa Yola, whereas Aayan Ibrahim is from Gombe. They both have a past that still haunts them. Nawar lost her Wakanda, her habib, the love of her life. Whilst Aayan struggles with a drug addiction which was caused by a tragic incident.
Life became bleak for Nawar after her Wakanda passed away; ever since then, she has been trying to move on, but it seems almost impossible. Her Wakanda's last words to her were, "Live for the both of us." If only he knew what she would go through.
Have you ever been so scared of love? Aayan is afraid that no one will ever love him because of his addiction and is terrified to open up to anyone. He fears that no one will accept him after all, even his own father abandoned him.
Nawar's life changed with just a text message, while Aayan could only hope that what he wished for would turn out to be the best.
How exactly are they going to make it work when neither of them is willing to openup?

Healing between the lines .. <3 by Imaan2009

Imaan never imagined that love could be this complicated. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Growing up, she had always been told that love would come when it was meant to, that it would be simple and pure-guided by faith, respect, and the traditions of her Pakistani roots. But now, sitting in her room late at night, watching the soft glow of her phone screen, she wondered if she was meant to just follow the path laid out for her, or if there was more to love than what she'd been taught. It had started when she met Rayan again after all those years. They had known each other since middle school, but it was only now, in high school, that something shifted. He wasn't just the guy she'd seen in passing anymore. He was someone who made her feel seen, heard, and respected in ways she hadn't even known she needed. But there was a problem. Her heart was still tied to the past-the scars of a relationship that had torn her apart. Aayan. She had loved him with all her heart, only to find out that he had been unfaithful. He had broken her trust, and with it, the possibility of ever believing in love again. Now, with Rayan, she faced a new kind of fear. Could she trust him? Could she let herself fall in love again? Or would her past repeat itself? As Imaan lay awake that night, the answer was clear. The fear of getting hurt was too great. But deep inside, something whispered: Maybe love is worth the risk. ******* Every story has an end. But in life, every end is a new beginning.******* ------------------------------------------------------------ His voice was a little shaky now and I could see how he struggled to even keep his eyes open. But what he spoke next shook me completely. "You know, It was very difficult in the start to convince her. Ananya had a line of billionaires waiting for her. And I was at the end. But I guess the highest bidder always wins. You pay her more and she is yours." I stared at him in disbelief. It was quite embarrassing for me and it certainly did make others uncomfortable too. I decided to excuse myself, but he held onto my hand. "Oh am sorry. I was just kidding sweetheart. Sit my love. Sit with me." His shaky voice spoke those words but I knew he didn't mean them.
