Story Name: "Sands of Time: The Forbidden Journey
Story Description:
Set in the grandeur of the Mughal Empire, Sands of Time: The Forbidden Journey follows the story of Soujanya, a modern-day doctor, actress, and historian who stumbles upon a mysterious time machine and is transported to the 16th century.
Fascinated by history, she intends to observe the real Mughal court, verify historical facts, and uncover the untold truths of Emperor Jalaluddin Muhammad's reign. However, fate has different plans.
Disguising herself as a veiled Rajasthani commoner, she infiltrates the Mughal palace. She grows close to Jodha Begum, secretly admiring her resilience and learning the realities of royal life. Her mission takes an unexpected turn when she aids Sujamal's escape from Jalal's prison.
This act of defiance enrages Jalal. When the emperor uncovers her deception, he forces her into his harem as Soujanya Begum, a wife by name but a prisoner in reality.
Inside the golden cage of the harem, she experiences a world hidden from history-the silent sufferings of women, the thirst for power, and the loneliness behind silk curtains.
Soujanya finds herself caught in a dangerous love-hate triangle between Jalal and Jodha. While she tries to resent him, moments of unexpected tenderness confuse her. Jalal, too, is drawn to her mysterious nature. Unlike the other women in his harem, she does not crave his attention-and that makes her unforgettable.
But danger lurks in every corner. The Mughal court is full of betrayal, hidden enemies, and deadly conspiracies. When Jalal's life is threatened by a political traitor, Soujanya risks her own life to protect him.
As emotions entangle and truths unravel, she is forced to confront her own heart. Can she continue pretending she doesn't care? Will she accept her fate, or will she fight against time itself?
And the biggest question-will she ever return to her own century, or has the past become her destiny?
