Many of us believe that going to school and getting education is a ticket to success well meet Wei Wuxian who think otherwise that a school is just a good spot to hangout with friends and at least get a lover at the end of it .........At Cloud Recesses, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are classmates, but they couldn't be more different. Wei Wuxian's carefree nature and constant pranks often drive Lan Wangji crazy, but amidst the chaos, Wei Wuxian develops strong feelings for Lan Wangji, who slowly begins to open up to him. ...initially insisting that their relationship remain a secret due to concerns about Lan Wangji's family reputation and societal expectations. However, as Wei Wuxian's friends Nie Mingjue and Wen Ning become increasingly supportive of their romance, Lan Wangji eventually warms up to the idea of making their relationship public where he announces about his wedding with Wei Wuxian out of the blues and shock everyone leading to Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian's brother fainting because he could not accept more to the chaos from Wei Wuxian.

A Modern Wangxian Short Story Lan Wangji needs to prove to his best friend Xue Yang that he is gay to stop him from setting him up with his sister A'Qing. He promises to introduce him to his boyfriend who was from a different department but Xue Yang doesn't believe in the Lans don't lie crap and so he asks him to take him to meet this boyfriend right away. Jiang Cheng likes Wen Qing. Wen Qing likes Wei Wuxian. And Wei Wuxian, he likes to remind himself that he would be dog food decades ago if Jiang Cheng's father hadn't rescued him from the streets and given him shelter. So when she demands that he take her to the college dance Wei Wuxian had to pretend to have a girlfriend to get out of the situation but the problem is that she is his only female friend in college. So when he chances upon the prettiest face on campus he walks up to it and places a kiss on it. Only that face belongs to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji turns to him and blinks. "Ah, here you are," he says and turning to Xue Yang introduces him, "That's my boyfriend," he says. Wei Wuxian's raised brow is met with a cold stare daring him to refute. He smiles widely in response and answers, "I'm Wei Wuxian, from Chemical Engineering," he says. "Xue Yang from Electrical, same as Lan Wangji," he states. The name Lan Wangji makes Wei Wuxian take a second look. Why you ask? Because the Lans own the campus and now Wei Wuxian just kissed the campus Prince. Xue Yang excuses himself, wondering hiw he didn't see that coming. Lan Wangji turns to Wei Wuxian and drags him by the sleeve. "Hey," Wei Wuxian objects. "You approached me," Lan Wangji pointed out. "I needed to turn down a girl for the college dance," Wei Wuxian explained. "Can you dance?" Lan Wangji asked coldly. "Some, yeah. Who can't?" Wei Wuxian exclaimed. Lan Wangji nodded. "Good. His heart became stone cold and his care for anyone was long gone. He thought, 'if no one will be there to help me, why should I help anyone else?' So he disappeared but ran into a small group of people he found interesting, and both of them had a close relations to his mother. Find out what happens and if Wei Wuxian will ever come back to the world of cultivators and if he ever finds his happiness again. Wei Wuxian dresses up as Jiang Yanli during her wedding to Lan Jingyi, to avoid the embarassment of a missing bride because Jiang Yanli has eloped with Jin Zixuan. Wei Wuxian, twenty years old, the Jiang adopted son gets married into the Lan family. The twist- Lan Jingyi, Lan Xichen's son, disappeared the morning of the wedding, a preplanned move to ensure that Lan Wangji, now in his forties, has to step in to marry Jiang Yanli, barely twenty five, to save the Lan family pride. Lan Wangji has been living abroad for over twenty years, for longer than Wei Wuxian's lifetime. Lan Wangji resigns himself to marry someone who was supposed to be his niece in law. But as the doors to the bridal chamber closes, he has to buckle up the courage to reveal the real reason for his bachelorhood and even before Wei Wuxian has time to remove the veil and admit to the duplicity, Lan Wangji blurts out that he is not into women. Lan Wangji has not spoken a single word in three years, not since the death of his parents. When he sees his childhood crush in front of him he wants to speak but cannot make himself do so. So he pulls Wei Wuxian into his arms and kisses him. Lan Haikuan never blamed his brother for being the reason he lost his parents but Wangji did. If their parents hadn't gone to celebrate his graduation they wouldn't have died in the car accident. Lan Wangji never recovered from the trauma of it.
