Breakdown was one of the only few Decepticons that held any semblance of sympathy towards others but when the ship Nemesis landed near a planet that was unknown to him at the time would have human like beings but he couldn't have imagine was feeling sympathy for another creature but he felt it when he saw one Naruto Uzumaki being attacked by his own people and deciding than and there he would take this creature and have lord Magatron make him a Decepticon even if he had to sacrifice part of himself but unknown to him the creature that he would take under his wing would not only help him but as well as be the reason why the war would end.

Sunstreaker's day was going shitty. First, when he went to check the new Cybertronian life signal, he got put at gunpoint and got his ass kidnapped.
