Underneath the Surface

Mark Sloan arrives at Seattle Grace trying to get Addison back, after Addison choose Derek, leaving him behind to drown in his frustration. He seeks solace at a local bar, nursing his drink and brooding over his failed relationship. There, he meets Lylah Ryan, a sharp-witted, outspoken woman with beautiful brown skin. Despite their different worlds, there's an instant connection as she teases him about his "sad puppy look" after seeing him sulking.
