Nico would have thought that after the Giant War, he'd at least get a break. A few decades of break, if possible. He should have known not to expect so much.
Demigods hd tricky threads, somehow getting themselves tangled up on threads and PLACES that have long been hidden for a reason. The hiding was effective for a few centuries, but when a certain goddess finds a way to open the barrier between two worlds to wreck havoc, Nico finds himself treading on dangerous waters as he approaches a castle with insulting dopplegangers, Persephone's minions and Aphrodite-wannabes.
He never asked for a quest, and he didn't get one. Instead, he was asked to deliver one to a certain daughter of a certain god. Help was an obligation he had to give. He didn't expect he'd be in trouble this deep, though.
He just hoped he'd pass OWLs.
