During my sophomore year of high school, we were asked to write a narrative. There were no specific rules and we could go wild. This was my first time writing anything sort of thriller-ish because I normally write love stories (I'm a hopeless romantic). If there are any typos...oops. Who knows, I might even continue.

"You don't like it rough?" he asks me. Oh, okay, I smirk back at him, two can play this game. "I like it... but only during sex, " I say to him watching as his smirk drops and eyes widen just for a split second. "What? Didn't expect that?" I ask putting on extra sweetness to my tone. However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. The claws had emerged before I'd even realised, gently tearing their way through my skin, running their way through my arms and changing my body into the one thing I thought I'd hated, but I'd begun to love more than anything: a monster. ---------------------- High school. A place where children go to grow their minds and adapt to adulthood. Where nothing but popularity and grades matter. I was a weird kid. I still am, but that's besides the point. One day, I walked into the wrong class, and something went wrong. Turns out, Things got weirder and weirder. Suddenly, popularity and grades don't really matter anymore. (Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. So my apologies for the dear people whom have read this. I apologize for it being the way it is and how my mind just simply fucked it all up. I thought I could personally make my way up to the top and be so damn happy with it, yet looking back at my 14/15 year old self, it simply was a rich feeling that I was on top; to be honest, I felt like I was best out of all. Looking back and maturing A LOT, I don't feel or think that way. I understand we all have different writing skills or grammar; but that is simply just not in my case. I wrote this out of being greedy and thinking I simply wanted everyone to like it but turns out; even the painter hates its awful paintings. So you may read it if you would like, or don't.
