Accidentally more than expected

Zola has a plan: focus on her physics degree, keep her head down, and-most importantly-ignore the small but persistent voice inside her that longs for something sweeter. Like baking. Like a life outside of lab reports and academic expectations.

Tobby has no plan-at least, not one he chose. As the eldest son of the prominent Ashford family, he's supposed to follow in his father's footsteps, uphold the legacy, and meet every expectation set for him. But ever since his father's passing, he's been stuck in a life that feels more like an obligation than a choice.

When Zola and Tobby's paths cross-first at a chaotic sports event, then at a beachside resort, and again on campus-they don't expect much from each other. A few jokes, maybe. A little teasing. But as their accidental meetings turn into something more, they start to realize that sometimes, life has a way of surprising you.

And love? Love might just be the biggest surprise of all.
