Lola's world is turned upside down after a car accident leaves her in a coma. Weeks later, she wakes up to find herself surrounded by her boyfriend and his best friend. But as confusion sets in, Lola decides to pretend that she's lost all memory, using her usual humor to mask the uncertainty swirling inside her.
When she jokingly asks her boyfriend if he's still her boyfriend, his response is chilling. He goes silent for a moment, then calmly denies their relationship, claiming he's just a friend. He points to his best friend, Arlo, standing behind him, and tells Lola that Arlo is actually her boyfriend now.
The truth is far more twisted-Arlo isn't her boyfriend at all. Her actual boyfriend, taking advantage of her vulnerability, has orchestrated this moment for his own amusement, fully aware that Lola's memory is foggy. As she tries to piece together the truth, Lola must face the painful realization that the person she loved may have been playing a cruel game all along.
