Would He Have Stayed?

She gave and gave until she had nothing left, but he never reached out to take it. He loved her, or so he claimed, yet when things got hard, he let go without a second thought. No promises, no apologies-just silence. She begged, she stayed, she changed, but nothing was ever enough.

Every fight ended the same way: her pleading, him indifferent. Every tear she shed was met with blame, as if she was the reason they kept falling apart. But deep down, she knew the truth-he was the problem. He never fought for her, never held on, never even asked her to stay.
