A summer of tennis and old-money privilege. James Callahan, Harry Black, and Jack Callahan have it all-talent, ambition, and an unbreakable bond. Catherine Spire is close enough to an average teenage girl. She is the captain of the varsity soccer team, she gets all A's and is in all honors classes. Catherine is also very sarcastic and not easily intimidated. At least, she doesn't show it when she is, and she loves to be in the shadows when she isn't playing soccer. Catherine's entire life changes, though, when she bumps into Tommy Arden one morning at school. Tommy Arden is your typical bad boy. He skips class, rides a motorcycle, has girls falling at his feet, and has a gang of bad boy friends. He doesn't care for anyone but himself. Tommy is a sarcastic arrogant jerk who doesn't put up with shit from anyone. Except Catherine, that is. Only, no one knows why. With mess ups, heartfelt talks, and a new neighbor, Catherine's life turns upside down. Can she make it through all the drama in order for her life to go back to normal? Or will the egotistical jerk be in her life to stay? This contains strong language and deals with self-harm.
