Octavia Goetia's life is a constant reminder of abandonment. Her father, Stolas, left her and her mother for an imp, leaving her with the emotional wreckage of a broken home. Her mother neglects her, only remembering Octavia's existence when she wants to mock her or remind her of how her father discarded them. Lost in the shadows of her family's dysfunction, Octavia spends her days in solitude, finding small moments of peace in the park.
One day, as Octavia sits alone on a park bench, an unexpected figure approaches her. Seraphiel, the youngest of the archangels, sees the pain in her eyes, the scars of neglect, and the weight of loneliness she carries. As they explore Pride Ring, they find themselves caught up in a strange moment: a commercial for the infamous Hazbin Hotel, a place for lost souls looking to redeem themselves. It's a strange and unexpected encounter that promises Octavia more than she ever dreamed-a potential path to healing and redemption, but one that may also bring her face to face with her greatest fears and desires. I know there are younger viewers, but please if your under 18, I would recommend refraining from reading or watching without parent guidance. There are topics and scenes in this book that discuss abuse - physical and sexual and selling oneself. They are not graphic but as warning I rated this story as mature. I wish all my readers the best. I also do not own Hazbin Hotel or it's characters which belongs to Viziepop and her incredible talent and storytelling.
