In a secluded forest cabin, a 300-year-old vampire named Grim finds his existence disrupted when he, and the other creatures of the night residing with him encounter a spirited young woman on the run from her past life... and literally running from a vampire she'd come across in the last city she visited. It had been following... and she knows that, but now it has decided to make its move.

Struggling to find safety amid the dense woods, she is drawn to the mysterious aura surrounding a cabin she sees in the distance, despite the dark. As she strays closer to it, she realizes that it is no ordinary cabin, it's huge! She might be safe there, she knows someone is gone because there's dim fire light flickering from within.

Pounding on the door with her utmost effort, she's greeted by a tall, seemingly carefree man. She would soon learn that this man wasn't a man at all, but something far more dangerous. Something all too familiar.
