Yona was on the garrison before studying to become a doctor with Grisha Jaeger. She survived the desaster of Shiganshina and worked as a physician for the Scout Regiment. After the battle in the forest against the female titan, the number of scouts is lowered and Erwin Smith choose to hire Yona as a Squad Captain, considering her previous experience in the army. That rush decision is far from pleasing her but it allows her to keep her word.
The story follows the storyline of the anime until about the thirtieth chapter, then the storyline is mine. Changes have been made among the plot to enjoy our dearest characters longer.

PS : Yona's name comes from "YOur NAme". I thought this form was more practical to read than Y/N. Her last name is Heiwa which means peace.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
