Before you read the summary, I want you to know that this isn't a story about paranormal beings falling in love, with each other or ordinary people. It is about the horrifying and unusual consequences caused be love. "How?" You may wonder...well I guess you'll just have to read and find out. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?"
