I lower my voice. "And you never contacted me again. You say you've been through tough times, then what about me? You think my life was pink and pretty?" "What are you gonna say? That I'm the bad guy?" I look at him dead in the eyes. "Exactly." I walk away from him until he grabs my wrist, stopping me. "Let me go!" I scream, trying to free myself from his grip. Madilyn is what you would call a 'nerd', she gets good grades, she's socially awkward and a bit mentally unstable but who isn't? East Blue high, a school that thrives off social status. When an incident leaves her in tears, making a dangerous wish that Zack knew what it was like to be her for once, that he'd take a walk in her shoes.
