The series follows Loona, a cynical Hellhound and former I.M.P. receptionist who is now an active assassin, voiced by Erica Lindbeck. She adopts a 10-year-old orphan named Wayne after rescuing him from bullies. Loona introduces Wayne to her coworkers: her eccentric boss and adoptive father, Blitzø (Steve Carell); anxious Moxxie (Richard Steven Horvitz); his energetic wife, Millie (Vivian Nixon); and Blitzø's love interest, Prince Stolas (Bryce Pinkham). Stolas's gothic daughter, Octavia (Barrett Wilbert Weed), her friend Vortex (Michael B. Jordan), and his girlfriend, Queen Bee-lzebub (Kesha), are also part of the team. A new enemy, Varkhaziel (Will Ferrell), a French-accented Goetic demon with technology-enhanced powers, seeks revenge. Meanwhile, they meet old and new friends-- both demons and humans.
