The wind brushed through the landscape, making the grass dance. Something was different. Tennisball looked around and everything seemed to be normal; same game, same host, same contestants, same flowers, same hands, same eyes, same sky. But....he could hear it calling for him, crawling underneath his skin. Something was wrong.
The shift did it, he was almost certain. It had messed up his mind.
(Kind of an infection AU, planning on atleast 30k words)

He's trying his best helping her out with One's stalking while hiding his own crimes. Will his secret stay hidden during this tough time? Part 2 (no spoilers about part 1 dw): Nothing could go back to the way it was. Both parties were in chains, broken. Yet, they still tried finding a way to communicate. Tennis Ball is forced to be blindly obedient, but he can't rebel this time. While Golf Ball had completely shattered knowing his fate. Each was blaming themselves for the problem. A rewrite of the first fic I ever posted on Wattpad (and the only one I ever finished). I wasn't that great of a writer back in 2020, so let's fix a bunch of mistakes my past self made!!!! The stereotypical BFB X Highschool au, because despite the fact that they are very very overdone they are fun to write FIGHT ME ON THIS I DARE YOU (/silly) Except they actually still competed in BFDI in this au. I realize that a lot of highschool aus remove the competition from the picture entirely, but BFDI existed here. They all competed as kids. It was traumatizing, yeah.
