(BENT CLUB SERIES #1)
Ever since, Dem had always known he was different-he was gay, or so he believed. That's why, at a young age, he ran away from home, seeking a life where he could be free. Along the way, he met Arla, who became his best friend, his safe space, and the one person who truly understood him.
But things start to change when Arla develops a crush on Dem's older brother. It should have been nothing-something Dem could tease her about. But instead, it stirs something unexpected in him. For the first time, he starts questioning his own feelings, his identity, and the one thing he was always sure of: himself.
Now, he's forced to confront the one thing he never questioned-his own heart. Can love really defy the labels we place on ourselves, or has Dem just been running from his true feelings all along?
Will he break the lines that he set to himself? or Will he just let Arla to walk away from his lines?

"You're eyes are shooting stars."
"And what do you wish for, mon significative une?"
"For you to tell my your deepest secrets."
He was quiet for a moment but he didn't leave like I expected him to do. He just simply started to kiss my check while trailing down to my jaw, then neck, then up to my ear. He gripped my lobe between his teeth and right as he let it go he whispered something. "If I tell you my secrets, that gleam in your eye, that you seem to only look at me with, will forever be lost."
