Bringing three powerful Illyrian warriors into the modern world was supposed to be an adventure. She just didn't expect them to be this fascinated by everything.
From driving cars (with questionable skills) to binge-watching movies and discovering fast food delivery, Rhysand, Cassian, and Azriel are both amazed and frustrated by human technology. Airplanes? A marvel. Clubs? An experience. Escape rooms? A challenge they refuse to lose.
Between teaching them how to use smartphones, preventing them from scaring the police, and introducing them to Halloween, Valentine's Day, and amusement parks, she's got her hands full.

Some say that everyone's fate is already determined. If that's the case, Estelle Marzena is greatly disappointed with hers. Her greatest dream is to participate in the Illyrian Blood Rite and become a Carynthian warrior, like so many in her family. She has been training for the Rite her entire life, and yet, she continues to be told that she isn't ready. Estelle must find a way to prove her skills to her mentors so that she can prove her skills to the world, and she might have unwittingly stumbled across a way to do that.
