Book 1 of the incoming saga ___ Laïa had always known the Abga were dangerous, but nothing had prepared her for him. Not even the four years spent in the Latic convent could have braced her for this. The golden-eyed king stood too close, only meters away, his presence suffocating. The air between them was thick, charged-like a storm about to break and consume everything in its path. Her wrists ached from hours spent in ceremonial chains, but that pain was nothing compared to the heat of his gaze, the way his fingers flexed as if he were fighting to stay in control. Then he moved-fast. In a blink, he was before her, his hand brushing her throat, thumb grazing her skin before pressing lightly over her racing pulse. Her breath hitched, a shiver racing down her spine. "You have no idea what you've done," he murmured, voice low, rough-his breath ghosting against her ear. She was frozen, like prey caught in a predator's sights. A trance-like detachment settled over her, as though she were watching the scene unfold from outside herself. Except his hand was on her throat. His body caged hers in a way that made escape impossible. Then, suddenly, he was gone. Exhaling sharply, as if burned. His expression was unreadable, but his voice was not. "Lies," he muttered darkly. "But we'll see how long you can keep them." ___

My heart was racing. My Lycan danced around in my head as I was meeting with her for the second time now. I froze as her eyes met with mine again. Only this time I saw her more clearly. She did not smell of the rouge that was lying before me a year ago, and her weakened figure was replaced by a symphony of curves that was blessed by the moon goddess herself. Her face was perfect, with the most seductive lips I have ever seen on a she wolf. However, there was also something strangely powerful about my beautiful mate sitting before me. I cursed to myself quietly. I knew that she hated me because of the way she has been treated this last year inside of my kingdom. And I deserved that. However she was still mine, and no one was to touch her. Not even my gamma. Not even my Luna... There wasn't always tension between Alexander and the rouge werewolves around his kingdom. Not until one killed his first fated mate, and disappeared into the wilderness. Now, every rouge that he encounters is either severely punished, or worst. Deciding to rekindle his relationship with his childhood sweetheart, and now Luna, he encounters a huge problem. He is drawn to his new fated mate more than he could ever imagine, meeting her for a second time after almost rejecting her and even wanting her dead. It is also around this time as well that his current Luna is now being looked at through new lenses, thanks to a watchful eye in the kingdom.
