Beyond the Net

At Shiratorizawa High, Wakatoshi Ushijima is known as an unstoppable force on the volleyball court-strong, disciplined, and unwavering in his pursuit of greatness. He never paid much attention to anything outside of his own training-until he watches Ayumi Nakamura play.

As the captain and ace of the girls' volleyball team, Ayumi is a powerhouse in her own right-fierce, strategic, and effortlessly charismatic. When Ushijima witnesses her dominate a high-stakes tournament match, he finds himself drawn to her in a way he doesn't quite understand.
