Blood of the River

Deep within the heart of Sarawak, where the rivers run dark and the jungle whispers ancient secrets, a name still lingers in the fearful hush of the locals-Bujang Senang. A legend? A curse? Or the wrath of something beyond human understanding?

Long before the monstrous white-striped crocodile terrorized the waters, there was a man-Simalunggun-a feared and undefeated warrior of the Iban tribe. Whispers of dark power surrounded him, for no blade could pierce his skin, no enemy could best him in battle. But such power comes at a price. Bound by a sacred rule, he was forbidden to set foot in the river... a rule he would soon break, sealing his tragic fate.

As generations passed, the river became his domain, his name spoken only in cautionary tales. But when modern greed and arrogance challenge the balance of nature, the river's protector may rise once more-this time, not as a man, but as the relentless spirit of vengeance.
