When Daryl found out Layla was pregnant his brother, Merle, and his father, William, convinced him to skip town with them. Leaving poor little Layla to take care of their son all alone. Layla did a pretty shitty job raising the social rejection with anger issues known as luke. Now when Lukes 13 years old the world decides to make his life harder, which Luke didn't think was possible, and die. Some fucked scientist let out a discease that made dead people come back to life. It slowly started to spread from country to country, until the whole world basically died.

Both fathers took charge leading their respective communities. Both younger sons stayed by their father's side and did as they were told, while the elder ones tried to keep the peace inside. And when both mothers met their fate the fathers took the world by storm. In another world they most likely would've gotten along, but as they were just so similar it's truly no wonder why they hated each other so much. ༻❁༺ (Featured on the Wattpad Tik Tok Trending Reading List!) A Lamb To The Slaughter • carl grimes
"Every eldest daughter is the first lamb to the slaughter" I never thought I'd meet him, a boy who cared. A boy who wanted me as much as I wanted him. Someone who cared. Someone who might just love me. If there was one thing I wanted, it was love. Not the lust kind of love. Not the forced kind of love. The 'I love you and I chose to' kind. The soft kisses at night and hand to hold when you feel scared. The shoulder to cry on. And he gave that to me. He gave me everything. ♤♡♤ I've been alone since my dad left me in an animal trap. Father of the year, right? I know not to trust anybody. That was a lesson learned a long time ago. So you know what happened when I got found by a man and his son, looking ugly, crying in a ditch? And then meet a police officer who is trying to find his family. "I have a son about your age, it'd be nice for you two to be friends" that's what Rick Grimes said to me a few days before I went with him to Atlanta to find his family. I guess I learn that some people may just be trustworthy. I might even find a family. And I might just finally feel safe, not broken. I might grow, I might break. All with the help of a certain boy in a sheriff's hat. Wanna know how all that happens? Keep reading. You're in for a wild ride. Because this is a story of death, sacrifice, zombies, sarcasm, and learning to sleep with a knife under your pillow. But most importantly, love And you might ask how I found the "L" word in the apocalypse... That's for you to find out. And for me to tell you. Bit by bit, piece by piece, little by little, and chapter by chapter. Good luck, and don't get bit before you finish the story, because this girl doesn't tell it twice. Second Wind | TWD
-ˏˋ ꜰᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ, ɪ'ᴅ ꜱᴛᴇᴀʟ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴛᴀʀꜱ.ˊˎ- Elodie Price had never heard the soft breeze of the wind or the sound of birds singing in the trees. After losing her older brother and her mother, the world had become grey. Ten years old, and already the universe had stripped her of everything. She couldn't see any reason to keep moving, no one to protect her. The Walkers would find her soon enough. With her hearing loss, she wouldn't even hear them coming. She could barely hear the world screaming around her. Her mother had always been harsh - never quite satisfied with anything Elodie did - and her brother distant. The little bits of love that trickled through, the faint scraps of affection, always seemed to slip through her fingers like water. She didn't belong. Not to them, not to anyone. So when she had come to the conclusion that maybe it was her turn to go, she never expected anyone to care. She never expected anyone to save her. Certainly not someone like Daryl Dixon. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰; ©𝙙𝙞𝙭𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙: 𝙛𝙚𝙗. 𝟭𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙: - updates set in season 5 (the earlier chapters truly suck in my opinion, so once you get to like chapter 10 or so it gets better :,P) DISCLAIMER: I do not own The Walking Dead, or its storyline. THE WARMTH OF A NIGHT SURVIVED | CARL GRIMES
Alice was not worried of the unknown. She was worried of what she already knew. She was worried of the promises that the new people were making to her-the ones bringing the people of a fallen Woodbury into their own settlement. The girl felt sorry that she'd touch yet another community. She almost felt as though her presence would bound the new place to its own demise-like she was somehow the common denominator in a world full of chaos and destruction. ───── ⋆✩⋆ ───── carl grimes x fem!oc season 4 - season 8 third person Spanish translation: @-effypops Russian translation: @VeronikasssBVVlack Portuguese translation: @stellesk published: November 30, 2022 completed: December 8, 2025 ───── ⋆✩⋆ ───── #1 in #walker - 06/21/23 #1 in #carl - 02/24/25 #1 in #carlgrimes - 03/10/25 #1 in #riggs - 07/18/25 + 10/30/25 #1 in #chandlerriggs - 08/03/25 #1 in #carlgrimesfanfiction - 11/24/25 ───── ⋆✩⋆ ───── disclaimers: contains mature themes such as language, blood, gore, non-descriptive nudity, depression, etc. I do not own AMC's the walking dead, nor do I claim to.
