At the wrong place, at the wrong time: that simple phrase summed up your entire life. Since the day you were born, you've had terrible bad luck, from minor occurrences like getting locked inside bathrooms and things disappearing when you needed them most, to bigger, more concerning things, like getting yourself wrapped up in copious amounts of villain attacks. Needless to say, you've had your fair-share of strife and hardships. Despite this aspect, you tried your hardest to keep a positive attitude and lead a normal life.

Even with your exceptional quirk perfect for the hero world (which thankfully had nothing to do with your rotten misfortune), you get accepted at U.A. for their general studies department and become hopeful of being able to pursue your dreams of living a totally non-eventful, non-heroic existence... though things go topsy-turvy when your bad luck keeps getting you caught up in the shenanigans of the hero course classes, setting you scarily close to the very path you've been trying to avoid.
