When the machine stopped, at first, I thought it hadn't worked. Cold fear raced like a warning down my spine, but when I opened my eyes, the world was tinted yellow. Strangely calm and trapped in a lightheaded daze, I broke through the glass and stepped down from the pedestal. I looked around. This couldn't be real. The snow was white. I was cold.
I was free.
"Nightmare... Steve?" Well. Apparently not free enough.

Sabre glanced at an erstwhile Steve floating in the midair, with Rainbow Steve right beside him. 'I've never thought we could see each other again, Time Steve,' with a second glance at another see-through figure next to the glowing pelt of Time energy, he added, 'Elemental Steve.' 'Only fate will tell,' Elemental Steve replied, smiling. Time Steve floated forward, his silver eyes sparkled with pride. 'The Steve Realm owes you a thanks for your aid.' He paused as Elemental Steve held out his right hand out, a swirl of Elemental energy emitted from his palm. Time Steve looked at his brother and smiled, as well as holding out his hand. Their energy merged together as a portal formed. 'We conducted a merge of Time and Space to bring you back home, to the overworld, and we brought back something you ought to have. May our paths cross sometime.' 'Be nice and jubilant. I would like to see you in yourself again.' Elemental Steve chuckled. 'Don't worry, I will.' Came Rainbow Steve's reply. 'Well I guess this is goodbye then...' Sabre walked up to the Steves, 'I wish you the best in guarding the universe, together.' With that being said, Sabre and Rainbow Steve pelted into the portal. 'Sabre! And Rainbow Steve! Glad to have you back!' A voice sounded just as soon as they arrived. Sabre's eyes grew wide. 'Lucas?' Rainbow Steve gave Sabre a smirk of joy. The Memory of the Artifacts
Thank @HeathAnders for giving me the idea to write this! She came up with some of the story line, the name, and helped inspire me to write this completely. She is an amazing person so check her out! (Just assume it's a yes) -Most likely going to be MAINLY Rainbow Steve's POV but don't hold me accountable for that, seeing as the first chapter has Sabre's Losing someone you care about is already hard enough, but then losing your memory of them and gaining them back after so long is worse. When you realize that you actually love them, it makes it much worse. Then what do you do when suddenly they come back to life after being gone for so long? Rainbow Steve got injured during the battle of fighting Memory Steve and gained his memories back. Blue Steve comes back to life after it came short because of Nightmare Steve. Except now Blue Steve doesn't have his memories. The only questions are: How did he come back to life? How long will it take to learn what brought Blue Steve back? How will Sabre react when he finds out Rainbow Steve's secret? And will Blue Steve care about Rainbow Steve the same way Rainbow Steve cares about him?Complete
a Light in your darkness
Sabre has seen everything fall from not only his days in the Steve saga realm but also when Rainbow Steve turned to the darkness and the rainbow hub was attacked, those moments gracefully pushed sabre closer to the edge but what pushed him to the very edge was rainbow's death. Light Steve and the chromatic colored leaders notice Sabre's behavior and want to help him heal from the trauma when they are granted that chance anonymously by other familiar faces appearing, both returning and joining the group to take down a villainous curse going after their dear friend, once and for all The timeline is set after Sol and before the Demon Steve attacks there will be some Steve Legends in here hope you enjoy!
