For Sam and her nephew, life has always been confined to the cold, sterile walls of a remote bunker. Years of isolation have taught them survival, but not much else. The outside world is a distant, almost mythical place, a memory that fades with time.

But everything changes the day two strangers crash into their lives-people who bring with them secrets, dangers, and the promise of a world outside the bunker's oppressive grip. As Sam is forced to confront the truths she's kept buried and the child she has protected at all costs, the walls around them-both physical and emotional-begin to crack.

Sam must navigate a world she thought she'd left behind, discovering that the greatest challenges aren't just the ones that lurk beyond the door-but the ones that live inside her heart.
