Escape

(Previously Titled: The Rebellion) In the year of 2026, the country of freedom is left in ruin and chaos. With the few states that haven't seceded from the Union, small communities have been formed from compliant individuals who succumbed to the evil that has overtaken the USA. Outside of these communities are the Slave Camps, where rebellious individuals who have been captured or who have surrendered spend their time working from daylight to nightfall to provide said communities with what they need for luxurious lifestyles. Slaves include men, women, and children, everywhere between six and sixty years of age. Escape is almost unheard of in either community. One Escapee, however, is Bryna Lexington - the leader of a group of people who fight for survival, rebel, but are honestly just trying to get to safety. Their stories are different, their secrets their own, and their ambitions drive what they stand for; freedom, loyalty, compassion, and in some cases, redemption. Upon meeting Aaron Reece and his sister Lea, Bryna's just glad to help out any more fellow Escapees. But in a world without rules and black and white society, escaping to safety isn't as easy as it seems.
