AN: Hey guys, so this is a new book I may start its a fantasy fighting type book, and I plan to just have fun with it. I don't really have plans for it, I just want to take it wherever my crazy mind goes. I hope you like it!
Just as he called out my name I realized it was too late. My greatest fear had come to life, I was falling faster than my mind could ever hope to comprehend, and there was nothing and nobody that could rescue me this time. Even with the speed I was falling at, my surroundings were so clear, unlike the blur of motion one would expect to witness.
It looked as though I was falling through a tunnel of clouds, colored pastel shades of blue, orange, red, and green. The scene would have been extremely beautiful like the sunset atop the rainforest, were it not for the fact that I was falling straight for the place everyone, including me, devoted their entire life to avoiding. I was heading straight for Hazlewood, the beautiful place for those who belong there, but extremely daunting to those who don't.
I knew deep down in my heart that fighting for my life would be rather pointless, but I was going to fight till my very last breath, and I was going to do it for my father. After all he has done for me, after all the time he's spent training me and enhancing my powers, after all he's sacrificed, I at least owed him that much...

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. This story is complete, though incomplete. For elaboration, I have completed it how I wanted it, in the sense of me working and chipping away at it to get it printed off for my father to read, seeing as he wanted to read, edit, and attempt to get it published (He had called a publishing company the other day about it). Incomplete in the sense that I don't have all the scenes I really want now more than I did when I was in the process of writing it. For example, in the previous chapter one, there was a small scene that had Aaren, Travis, Loyd, Scott, Gabe, and Xander fighting in Lord Sylvie's house. I had changed it so that they moved outside, seeing as I imagined Sylvie's house as a small, quaint house, so it would only make sense that they all fought OUTSIDE instead of INSIDE. Also incomplete in the sense that I strongly dislike the way I wrote it. I've gotten some 'inspiration' from my dad about (spoiler) killing her in the end, so I came back to change it before we went into really editing the pages (grammar, spelling, etc). That's all I really wanted to communicate with you guys, so if you remember something specific about the previous book, I changed it because I disliked how it wrote it.
