The Night Clan has been around for centuries. The true rulers of the night. With the fear of them in the hearts of all humans, there is nothing to stop them of overpower this newly born world. Well... There's me... Alaula, meaning dawn of light though for the Night Clan I'm better known as the Daywalker. I was originally a Night Clan child at birth, but when my mother gave me a "special drink" when I was young and sick I was able to walk among the Light. Now I am out to kill those who believe it to be right to murder the innocent humans before they murder me.

Now they rise up taking over with a power no one understands. Evelyn was born into the world of darkness. There is no sunlight and is controlled by vampires. She knows the law that anyone out after midnight is free food for the poor souls that can't afford the blood banks. So one night wouldn't hurt, right? I'm Kiera Calloway and I'm a witch. No, seriously. I am. The day of my Awakening, the High Priestess of my Clan (Daughters of the Moon), names me the next Heir and almost surprised the appetite out of me. Almost. In a world where vampires and day-walkers live side by side, soulmates are said to be destiny's greatest gift - a bond that unlocks untold power when found. For daywalkers they can sustain multiple flames. And for vampires their wind becomes stronger, more powerful. (Side note: this is some what my theory irl. My theory is that when a vampire meets their soulmate they gain better control of the wind like how he struggled to land at the beginning but towards the end his control was perfect) Nova Bright stopped believing in soulmates a long time ago. She still draws on her skin, but only in secret, convinced her true match is someone far away, someone she'll never meet. Victor Alden has spent years quietly carrying the artwork of someone he doesn't know. Beautiful drawings appear on his skin, proof of a soulmate he's never found, but he's too afraid to answer back.
