The watcher

Lorena Morelli is a young writer just doing the best she can to get by. She doesn't have any support system, as her father passed when she was younger, and somehow her mother found a way to blame Lorena for it. Eventually, she moved into a small apartment of her own, relying on the small income she makes from her books and the job she has as a nightclub barista. Everything was starting to look up as her book sales suddenly skyrocketed, but was there something more sinister lurking behind the scenes?

Alexander Gomez is a very sophisticated man with a long and dangerous past. He has killed many men, some for good reason and others simply for getting in his way. He remains anonymous on the streets, and while people know he exists, anyone who comes in contact with him and learns the truth doesn't live to tell the tale. He owns the Black Raven Bar, where Lorena works. He usually doesn't show up there often, but tonight he did. As soon as he saw her, he knew he had to have her.
