Should we have connected?(JC male reader x Death Stranding 2 on the beach)

After the rebirth of the United Cities of America, Yn,Samantha, and Lou vanished without a trace. 11 months later, Fragile tracks down Yn and Sam's whereabouts, where they reside with Lou in their own shelter, on the border with the former Mexico, hiding from the eyes of the UCA and Bridges. Fragile asks them to connect Mexico to the chiral network, promising the couple in return to erase all records related to their departure from Bridges, allowing them to live peacefully, without the need of hiding from the eyes of the UCA anymore.

During those 11 months, many things have changed within the UCA. Bridges and Fragile Express has officially been disbanded, and APAS 4000, a new system that utilizes the chiral network that Yn and Sam have linked across America, has taken control over the distribution process across the UCA by automating the entire delivery process within network coverage. Fragile decided to create her own group, Drawbridge, a private civilian company that handles work outside of the UCA.

Fragile asks Yn and Sam to connect the Former Geophysics Research Lab to the network, it's a lab in southern Mexico where a former colleague of Yn and Sam, Deadman, is working there, and he's working on an important research. Fragile tells the that Deadman has certain things he would like to tell the couple in person, but before connecting his lab, Yn and Sam must first connect three facilities to the network before they can reach the lab. The two eventually agree to Fragile's request, and they leave Lou in Fragile's care, and sets off to connect the Mexican facilities to the chiral network.
