Life has never played a sweet melody for Kai Alistaire Lian. growing up in a toxic family that made her feel worthless. As an Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) student in senior high, her mother hated her so much, always comparing her to her siblings and cousins, making her believe she was nothing but a worthless child. The weight of their words left scars that no one could see, leading her into a silent battle with trauma and suicidal thoughts. Even when she pursued a degree in BS Medical Technology, the shadows of her past followed her, whispering that happiness was a tune she was never meant to hear.

Not until Sebastian Lawrence Cay came, a STEM student who later pursued Education in college. he became the harmony to her broken chords a steady rhythm of comfort, love, and acceptance. With him, she found comfort, love, and a reason to believe that maybe she wasn't as worthless as her mother had been told to her.

But just as she begins to compose a new song of hope, fate plays another cruel note. An unexpected person enters their world, threatening to tear apart the love that had become her savior.
