He waited for them to come back. Days turned into weeks, weeks into years. But the only thing that returned was silence.
Now Branch carries their absence like a scar no one sees. Behind his forced smiles and quiet strength is a boy who never stopped asking, Why wasn't I enough? He struggles with trust, battles invisible pain, and copes in harmful ways that no one around him understands.
And maybe-just maybe-a story about finding light in the wreckage, even if it hurts.

You're the first troll for them to use as trail and error the talent extraction process... || I absolutely adore Floyd as a character and I always find it so difficult to find x reader stories that aren't fem oriented </3 (nothing wrong with that! I just personally can't read them comfortably) so I wanted to make a gender neutral one so everyone can read comfortably.
