Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. Once partners and lovers in the Port Mafia, Dazai and Chuuya spend the next four years away from one another. After being reunited, the two act as though they were nothing more than bad acquaintances and ex partners. However, when the day that had formally been their anniversary comes around, the two end up together again with the hopes to make it last. The only problem is they have to keep it a secret. Soon, a series of kidnappings and murders start to take up Dazai's time as Chuuya is being assigned to gather information on a possible spy in the Port Mafia. Will the two be able to hold on to each other? Will they be able to hide their renewed relationship or will they be torn apart and labeled as traitors? What does destiny have in store for them? This is a fanfic of the ship soukoku, it's my first time writing a story, so bear with me please😓 This is NOT a one shot, why do some people skip some chapters😭😭 Some things about their teenage years are incomplete, but I don't know much apart from what was shown in the anime and I want the angst to be about their relationship itself. Dazai and Chuuya started dating in secret at 17, then Dazai left the mafia without a word and they saw each other again 4 years later. Will they solve their differences? Talk things out? Or will they fall apart? Will their surroundings affect them? They still love each other after all those years, but will that be enough to stay together?
I'm Your Friend After All
Chuuya is woken up in the middle of the night, with an invitation to witness Dazai's death, by an old friend of Odasaku who thinks Dazai is the reason why Oda died. He also thinks Chuuya is Dazai's best friend who would shed buckets of tears for the rest of eternity, after his death. He couldn't have been more delusional. Eitherway Chuuya goes with an intent of taking a selfie with Dazai's dying form and ends up realizing two things. 1. Dazai was still important to him. 2. He still hated Dazai. Friendship.
