"But I'm not!" I whisper yell.

"Yet." Kane's deep voice has my thighs clenching when he chimes in.

As I turn his dark eyes are already watching me.

"Never gonna happen."

He smiles, biting his bottom lip. He leans in, brushing the tip of his nose along the shell of my ear and whispers.

"Your mouth might be saying never, but your clenched thighs tell me something different."
