i stare in the mirror as my vision goes in and out of focus. i should feel relieved, happy, and calm. but right now, i feel regretful, scared, and sad. i look down at the empty pill bottle in my hand. "take no more than 6" written on the bottle in every empty space.
then it all went away. every thought, every emotion. was gone. but then the last thing i remember happening was my head hitting the edge of the bathe tub and i blacked out.

Scattered along both sides of my neck and shoulders are at least six or seven hickeys. Some are the size of a quarter and others are at least an inch and a half in diameter. Each one is sporting a different shade of purple. On my left shoulder I can see a row of marks that form a clear outline of teeth.
