After a year of going to a community college and working two jobs she managed to save up enough money for a week long trip to England to visit some friends during the summer, and a bit more.
However, things take a turn for the worse when she gets drunk at a party that was thrown for one of her friends--someone who she'd been crushing on for years.
Despite their best efforts they decide to start a relationship together...alas, Alix's week long vacation could not have ended faster.
