This is the REDUX of my story "(Rem x Reader) Re:Reader - Starting YOUR New Life in Another World."
This separate entry exists for the purpose of the story's re-write (to fix typos, correct spelling, make names more consistent, etc), but also to preserve the comments from the older entry, and for the purpose of chapter consolidation (Wattpad has a limit of 200, and the main entry is already at 146).
All chapters in the older entry will be in this entry in the form of "Volumes" that contain multiple chapters in one larger "chapter" (these chapters will still exist in the volumes of this entry).
These newer, longer chapters improve immersion, descriptions, and character dialog/motives, they DO NOT add any new events or lore.
When I begin releasing newer chapters for the fic, they will still be posted on the old entry, and they will only be added once I reach those chapters in my effort to rewrite the older chapters. You will NOT be required to read these chapters to understand content past this.
Over time, I plan on releasing more "volumes" for this entry as I slowly pluck away at the re-write. Think of this as a way to re-read the series, but with a "new game plus" aspect to it.

And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled.
