After the death of Castiel, Dean becomes vengeful and determined to kill The Empty. Sam loses his spark and struggles to find anymore meaning to his life, until his psychic visions start to show him both positive and negative futures of their own lives. Jack runs away on a mission to save Castiel.
Will they save Cas and the rest of their family, or will they die a tragic death and never find happiness?

On a supply run soon after the undead are gone, Dean runs into a stranger, Castiel. Traveling with him, his nephew, Jack. While Dean's general rule is to never trust anyone, he can't help but feel responsible for protecting these two, especially Cas. Intent on finding somewhere they can settle down and start to rebuild their lives, the four of them set off to find food, shelter, and a community to call home. Dean has a knee-jerk reaction to seeing an angel almost get put down at a hunter's market, and thirty minutes later, he's in the Impala with Sam and a supernatural creature that wants to tear their jugulars out with his teeth. Sam seriously doubts they can handle the task his brother has taken on, but he's doing his best to be supportive. Castiel wants blood. He wants to rip every human that crosses his path into pieces, and he wants these two humans in particular to stop lying and trying to trick him with false niceties and so-called kindness.
