Welcome to Austronesia, an alternate-reality fantasy world inspired by the rich cultures of Southeast Asia and the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of Australia.
In a world where danger lurks behind every corner, orphan Mai and her best friend and roo, Suriya, are forced to make difficult choices to survive. The pair of adventurous rogues spend their days searching for valuable artifacts to help feed their fellow orphans in a nearby monastery.
But everything in their lives begins to change when they start the search for a long-lost artifact, one that seems to exist only in rumors.
