Before the war started Bakugou was confident that he would without a second doubt give his life for his country, however that crumbled really fast after seeing the nerds stupidly attractive green eyes again.
Bakugou continued, his voice shaking with frustration, with fear. "I never once wanted to lose you... never wanted to make you miserable. I- I fucking loved you, alright? I didn't know what to do with that, but I never wanted you to leave my life. I don't deserve you, but FUCK... don't die on me when I need you to breathe."
Midoriya's hand weakly squeezed his uniform where the bullet pierced through, a soft chuckle escaping him through the pain. "You know, Kacchan..." He coughed, his voice barely a whisper. "Your words always cut the deepest, but your actions never pushed me away."
