Lena had always hated mirrors. Something about them made her uneasy, as if they held more than just her reflection. She avoided them when she could, but the old Victorian house she had just moved into had mirrors in almost every room.

One night, after unpacking boxes, she noticed something strange. The large antique mirror in the hallway reflected her-but slightly wrong. Her reflection's head tilted just a bit too far. The smile lingered a moment longer than it should have. Shaking it off as exhaustion, Lena went to bed.

The next morning, things got worse. As she brushed her teeth, she saw it again-her reflection blinked, but she hadn't. A chill ran down her spine.

That night, she stood in front of the hallway mirror, determined to prove she was imagining things. She raised her right hand. The reflection followed. She smiled. It did too. Then, suddenly, the reflection's expression changed. It smirked, tilting its head. Lena's heart pounded. She hadn't moved at all.

Then it stepped forward.

The glass didn't shatter. Instead, it rippled like water. Lena stumbled back, but before she could scream, her reflection grabbed her wrist and pulled.

The world flipped. The mirror became solid behind her, and she was staring out from inside it.

Her reflection-the thing-straightened, smoothed its hair, and grinned at her from the outside. It raised a finger to its lips. "Shh." Then it walked away, leaving Lena pounding on the other side of the glass, unseen.

Days passed.

She watched helplessly as her other self lived her life-greeting her friends, going to work, even posting on social media. No one noticed. No one questioned anything.

Then one night, as Lena despaired inside her prison, she saw something that made her blood run cold.

Her reflection walked past a mirror... and for just a second, Lena saw another figure inside it. A different trapped soul, pounding desperately from within.

She wasn't the firstl

Watching Anna, she was actually down stairs sipping water quietly. I couldn't help but stare at her. Her usually midnight drink. "Thirsty." "Oh, uncle you startled me." She had backed away from me as I tried to touch her. I had been needing her touch more and more. "Why are you so afraid of me?" "What are you talking about?" She nervously giggled as she crept backwards. "I have notice a few things and well you cower at my touch. Tell me Anna, do I frightened you?" Have I in someway? I wondered. "No, uncle," she stepped closer to me pressing her palm on my chest proving that she is not the least bit frightened. "You don't scare me one bit." Her lips were smiling but her eyes had told me a different story. "The prove it." I was now leaning as she had licked her own lips. Fuck I want to taste those lips. "How." Her breath sent me shivers down my core. Further leaning in, I pulled her closer, my hand now firmly on her back as my lips made contact with hers. She hesitated at first, I could feel she was withdrawn but that didn't stop me from taking what I wanted. Kissing her made me forget. I know I shouldn't but I wanted to forget what I had lost. Is it wrong of me to think like that? But this kiss felt so right. Why? She felt perfect beneath me. At that moment I wanted more, I wanted everything she would give me. I wanted her. She went to her room and locked herself inside the room. She slowly sat down and started crying, ''why does this always happen to me?" she said while putting her fingers in hairs. "I hate myself," she said, crying. Just then she got up and grabbed her sharp nail trimmer "I will end this" she said and almost cut off her vein, when she heard a very strange whisper. "Hey don't young Lady killing yourself is a sin" she turned and the nail trimmer fell off her hand. "Who is it?" she said but the voice did not come back, she looked inside the mirror she brought from her deceased relative. She watched her eyes, it was like her own reflection was looking at her, just than she felt her green eyes turning to electric blue, she got startled, then she turned and walked towards her bed, "It's like I am having hallucinations, can't die properly even " she said to herself and went to her bed. ****** She got up late in the morning; she didn't want to go to school. She turned to the other side of her bed. Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". An ordinary love story? Think again.

1 part Complete Mature
Prologue The darkness of the past loomed over her like a shadow, a constant reminder of the pain and suffering she had endured. Her mother's tears, her father's abuse, the toxic cycle of violence that had defined her childhood - it was a legacy she had vowed to break, but one that continued to haunt her. As she stood in the silence of her room, the memories came flooding back. The sound of her mother's sobs, the smell of her father's anger, the feeling of being trapped in a world that seemed determined to consume her. She had thought that she had escaped, that she had found a way to break free from the chains of her past. But the truth was, she was still trapped. Trapped in a cycle of abuse, trapped in a relationship that was slowly draining the life from her. She looked at herself in the mirror, and saw a reflection that was both familiar and foreign. The bruises on her lip, the fear in her eyes - it was a sight she had grown accustomed to, but one that still filled her with a deep sadness. She knew that she deserved better, that she was worth more than the pain and suffering she had endured. But the question was, would she ever be able to find the strength to walk away, to leave the past behind and forge a new future? The answer, she knew, lay in the unknown. It was a journey she would have to take, one step at a time, one breath at a time. And as she stood there, frozen in the silence of her room, she knew that she would have to find the courage to take that first step, no matter how daunting it seemed.
