A time-stopping white mink princess informs him he's just disrupted the world's "flow of fate". Without a powerful enemy in the early stages, the hero, Adrihel Knight, will never grow strong enough to survive the tragedies ahead.

Someone must replace the missing antagonist.

Given the choice between soul destruction and becoming the antagonist, Fate does the unthinkable-he volunteers. Infiltrating the powerful Chrysler family, he declares his ambition to become heir, fully intending to stand as the obstacle that forges the hero.

But playing the antagonist is no simple act.

The deeper Fate sinks into the Chrysler power structure, the more blurred the line between performance and reality becomes. As alliances form, enemies gather, and the cost of rewriting destiny grows steeper, Fate must decide how to proceed and tie this ending beautifully and without the repeat of the ending he hates.

What's more-saving the hero might just cost him everything.
